Yuliana Pangaribuan S.H., C.L.A., is an experienced legal consultant, having honed her skills at reputable law firms in Jakarta, Indonesia, before joining Halal Asia Network. She graduated with an honours degree in law with cum laude and is certified as a Legal Auditor by the National Certification Professional Body (BNSP).

Her extensive expertise extends beyond conventional legal practice, positioning Yuliana as an expert in halal regulation and compliance in Indonesia. She is well-versed in providing legal consultations to both domestic and international companies, ensuring their alignment and compliance with halal principles, laws and regulations. Yuliana’s proficiency encompasses diverse industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, health, and supplements.

Yuliana’s focuses on halal legal advisory in Halal Asia Network focused on Indonesia. She conducts thorough legal audits and scrutinises companies’ adherence to regulations and policies, particularly in the context of halal and complaint requirements. She is a go-to expert in navigating the intricate landscape of halal certification in Indonesia.

Mr. Taufan Rumawan is a Certified Halal Supervisor at the Halal Asia Network in Jakarta, Indonesia. He stands as a pivotal expert in ensuring comprehensive Halal compliance across a wide spectrum of industries, including food, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and health supplements. With extensive experience in Government Affairs and Public Policy in Indonesia, Mr. Rumawan is a seasoned professional particularly focused on the Halal industry and the mentioned sectors.

Mr. Rumawan’s proficiency encompasses a range of areas, including adept navigation of Indonesia’s intricate government policies and regulations. Possessing an accredited Halal Supervisor certificate from Indonesia Halal Training and Education Center (IHATEC) he serves as the Network’s Halal Supervisor, leading a capable team dedicated to supporting the Network’s members.

In his previous role within Government Affairs, Mr. Rumawan demonstrated his prowess in securing permits and licenses across diverse industries, with a primary emphasis on Indonesia’s pivotal palm oil sector. His innovative thinking and exceptional stakeholder engagement abilities have resulted in the development of productive relationships with key figures in government, industry, academia, and consumer organisations.

Mr. Rumawan’s deep understanding of public policy is instrumental in formulating and executing strategies within heavily regulated sectors.
